4CD Had really awesome holidays here are some examples...

Leilah - I Liked going to the SPCA with Holiday program.

Tegan -  I enjoyed having my cousin Matthew staying with me. We bounced on the trampoline. And I spent time with my other cousins Cooper and Taylor too.

Zoe Cookson - The water slides in Hanmer Springs.

Xanthe Pearce - having a sleepover with 3 people and having my birthday.

Everyone had a great holiday and went to really cool places like Hanmer Springs and having their birthdays at home with their families.

On my holiday it was a really exciting holiday. I went to 3 places Brisbane (Australia), Auckland and Dunedin. 
First I went to Brisbane with my mum, we left on Wednesday.

When we were there I…

• I got 4 teeth pulled out.
• Went to Noosa beach
• Went shopping there.

After that we went to Auckland

• Mum and I went to Cats it was really cool and it was really loud there was a lot of booming.

  After we went to the airport to pick up my Grandparents.
• Mum and dad went to Hawaii for a holiday.

• We went to the Chocolate Factory.
• There was a tasting room in the Chocolate Factory and there is also a chocolate waterfall well when I say waterfall I mean chocolate fall. Thank you for having a look!

My Awesome holiday in Akaroa

In my school holidays I went to Akaroa. My favourite thing that we did was spending time with my family, and seeing my best friend Jade and getting to play with her. We went for a walk to a fake rhino on the hill.

We went to Akaroa with my friends called the Billsberrys. We did lots of things together like buying fudge and going to the skate park.

. I was going to London to see my sisters

.In London I went on the London eye and it took about 25 minutes AND THAT IS A HUGE  FERRIS WHEEL

just to go around THE WHOLE CIRCLE

.IN LONDON WE WENT TO THE CEREAL KILLER CAFE WHICH IS A CAFE WHERE THEY JUST SERVE CEREAL!

.IN LONDON WE DIDN’T GET A RENTAL CAR BUT WE GOT OYSTER CARDS FOR A TUBE

WHAT AN AMAZING HOLIDAY!!!

-Yay it's the school holidays and Olivia my cousin is coming down for a week.

-Ella, Emily, Olivia and I went on the trampoline.

-We were on our way to Mount Cheeseman and we stopped at the pie shop.

-We started on the rope tow and then went on the T-Bar.

-We also went on the top T-Bar and skied all the way down to the bottom.

-At lunch time we went to the day lodge and we had chips sandwich, 2 minute noodles and spirit.

-At the end of the day we packed the car and drove back to the Castle Hill holiday home.

-We had my favourite dinner roast chicken and went to bed.

         My Perfect Holiday!!

In the holidays my mum and dad had to work, BORING! But luckily I had lots of fun at the Selwyn House holiday program. My favourite day at the holiday programme was Friday, because we went to the SPCA. These were some of my favourite animals.

We learnt lots of things about how to care for animals. It was really interesting. Since I absolutely loved going to the SPCA, the next day I convinced my mum to go back to the SPCA, and we ended up getting a cute little cat called Daisy. She is a Tabby cat and she is 5 years old. On the last week of the holidays, I went to 2 sleepovers, one at my best friend Mileena’s house, and the other one was at Emma’s house. These are a few things I enjoyed about the two sleepovers.

Mileena’s house

1. Having a midnight feast

2. staying up until midnight

3. Watching a movie before bed

4. Been Able to actually see Mileena

5. Having  lots and lots of fun!

Emma’s house

1. Spending time with Emma/ telling jokes

2. Going to the park by ourselves, and sneaking into the house without Emma’s parents knowing

3. Running around and having fun/ running away from my little brother

4. Having some fun with Emma’s dog

5. Having GF DF pizza for dinner and breakfast.

I love the holidays because you get to have a break from school and that you get to do lots of cool things that you may not be able to do in the school term, like getting a cat. You also get to see friends and family that you don’t see very much because they go to a different or they live somewhere else. I think the holidays are quite cool and relaxing, and fun. But don’t worry I am always excited to come back to school!

My 9th B-day! 
 In the holidays it was my 9th birthday!!!! 
I am really excited to be nine because .....

•  I get to earn more pocket money 
•  I get to read the 3rd Harry Potter book and see the movie (I read one every year on my birthday) 
• I get to stay up later then when I was younger

 In the evening, Aria came over for a sleepover and we watched Despicable Me 2. We laughed a lot and said the funny bits again. In the morning we had cake and ice cream for breakfast then we played this funny game where we had a shoe store and a bakery. Then dad mum and hana came and brought shoes and cupcakes. I had such a fun birthday!

CSO Performance on PhotoPeach

In Term 2 on the 23rd of July 2015 the school held an Art Exhibition. We used all of the paintings that the whole school had made individually. We also used paintings that NIcole Wieberneit had painted and paintings that Katrina from the pre-school had painted. The whole of the school also made class canvases that were also put on exhibition. All of the paintings were set up on the Peter Pan set and all over the walls of the Atrium. Jean Scott had organised it with the SHPA. We got to take our paintings home so that we could have the paintings that we had painted without having to pay for them. All of the class paintings were sold except for 5 of them.

Xanthe M's Holiday in Welington

In the holidays, My Brother, Grandmother, My mother and I went to Wellington for two days during the middle week. I went to the Beehive and got to see the foyer and learnt how the laws and bills are created. We kept on walking pass the boat shed where my great grandparents kept their boats and sailed. We continued walking along the waterfront until we got to Te Papa. We Saw most Exhibitions but my favourite was The Scale of Our War exhibition about World War I. I liked it because of the big realistic statues the were sitting in the different rooms. We then went back to our hotel and relaxed until we decided to go for a walk to find a restaurant just down the street but we ended up having dinner at the restaurant at our hotel and then we jumped into a very deep sleep.

 The next day we took the train to Wingate to see my Third cousin my grandma’s cousin. He is a artist and he has a very big kind heart. We had lunch and he then drove us back to Wellington city and we took the bus to Newton Park where the Zoo was. My favourite animal was the Chimpanzees they were cute and clever time was running out and soon we found ourselves on the plane on our way to Christchurch.
